Lead Free Manufacturing
Ottimo operates dedicated lead-free forging, machining, polishing and assembly lines, developed to meet the latest Australian/New Zealand lead-free regulations (effective 2026). Our low-lead alloys are independently tested by NATA test laboratories to ensure full compliance with AS/NZS 4020 and AS/NZS 3718. This proactive investment ensures our partners stay ahead of regulatory timelines while maintaining product integrity and performance. Eco-Friendly Packaging
Transitioning all product packaging to recyclable and biodegradable materials — reducing plastic use by over 60% in export shipments. Using FSC-certified cardboard and soy-based inks for all printed cartons and product sleeves. Optimised packaging design reduces volume waste, allowing more efficient container loading and a smaller carbon footprint per unit. Sustainability in every shipment — from production floor to delivery dock.
Energy & Waste Management
Closed-loop water recycling systems are applied to our forge department to minimise waste discharge. Implementation of low-emission furnaces and energy-efficient CNC equipment. Continuous monitoring of air quality and wastewater in compliance with ISO 14001 environmental standards. All alloy bi products are recycled. I.e brass swarf.
